Grip it softly.
Stroke it smooth.
And you’ll sink right into the hole.

That’s my motto both on and off the golf course. The women come in full supply everywhere I go and there are no complaints. Maybe it’s the size of my driver that gets them going.

I’m Lucas “Ace” Montgomery, professional golfer and world record holder for the longest drive in golf history. The PGA Tour has

This book was, excuse the bad pun, a hole in one. I loved the light tone to it, how fun it was, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to read about Lucas and Ashley. They were perfect together with their flirty banter and the chemistry that was so evident between them.

The story was a really easy read because once I started I got lost in the world the author created and I could just sit down and enjoy it. There was nothing that frustrated me or had me

I don't think I've read a golf sports romance before and this romance happened to involve a golf superstar, Lucas Montgomery. He and his brother and friend come across the Bachelorette party that Dr. Ashley Locke is part of and Sparks fly. Ashley just about over her break up from a cheater is considering one night with Lucas. She doesn't know who he is and pushes him out the door in the morning.

I liked how grounded Ashley was. A few times she could of gone off the rails because dating celebrity

This is a stand alone novel by this author but fans who follow her writing know that she is good for an Easter egg or two as her stories unfold. You will get mentions of previous characters in this book. It won't distract if you don't know them, but it's become my mission to read until I find the tie in.

So, this is the first golf story I have ever read. Can't say I'm that into golf, but what unfolds is a good overview of the pro golf world I would guess. The story itself is a romantic romp with

I stumbled on Going for the Hole by L.P. Dover and am so happy I did! I was completely captivated by the by story from the start. Which I should not be surprised as I have enjoyed everything I have read from this author to-date. This was a such a fun read with characters that had great chemistry!

Lucas Montgomery is a successful professional golfer and is all about the game. But right now, he is taking some much-needed time off and enjoying the down time. Dr. Ashley Locke is a very serious and d

L.P. Dover always seems to get me lost in her words. Every book she writes I'm immediately sucked in and can't put it down. Going For The Hole is no different. Ashley is escaping her families medical practice for a week of fun to celebrate her brother's wedding. First day there she meets a handsome guy and things progress from there. Come to find out this handsome guy is actually a professional golfer and sweetness mixed with humor ensues.

Lucas has a lot of walls to knock down with Ashley. She'

Ashley and Lucas met under different name circumstances.

· Parts of this book were so hilarious I had tears , the tongue in cheek sentences between them were marvelous to my ears I am sure I was laughing out loud...

· The story line is magic you could imagine the happenings I would have loved to have been there...

This was just okay to me. Not much more to say. Lucus was a little cheesy. And, Ashley was a little boring. But, their love story seemed to fit for them. I did read it in one sitting. So, I must have been somewhat entertained...

I have to say that a blurb doesn't do justice to this story. And I'm glad that I gave this story a chance. It was easy read. And by that I mean, pages just flew for me. Story was catchy, fun and catchy. I liked both Ashley and Lucas. Yes, there was a part, where I wanted to smack Lucas, because seriously, but he fixed that really fast and I just loved him. It was a perfect summer read. I recommend not to add it to your GR, but just oneclick it.

I've read pretty much all of this author's books and I've read all her contemporary books! I've loved all the books that I've read from her, so I always look forward to a new release from her! I decided to sign up to review this book and I started my ARC as soon as I received it! After reading this book, I can say that I really enjoyed it! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it kept me wanting to read on and see what was going to happen next! The plot also didn't have any action and suspe ...more

I’m a sports romance junkie, so when I find one about a sport that I haven’t read a lot of stories about, I’m eager to enter this new sports world and see how the hero and the heroine interact as well as how the game of golf, both brings the couple together and perhaps works to drive them apart.

Lucas “Ace” Montgomery has spent the last 9 years winning several PGA championships, proving that his skills on the golf course are just as savvy as his

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is a lovely standalone novel that delivers more than just one successful romance - I just can’t decide if the correct terminology would be a double bogie, or an eagle! Suffice it to say it is very satisfying and I really enjoyed the golfing elements, even though I’m not a fan per se.

Given the relationship started with fake names and an expensive bet, this may well be one to tell the grandchildren, but actually the l

Going for the Hole by L.P. Dover is a funny, sexy, lighthearted read. Lucas and Ashley make the perfect couple even when they weren’t trying to be. Lucas Montgomery is a successful professional golfer and is all about his “balls”. Yet Lucas is ready for some time off from golfing and just taking some time to relax. Dr. Ashley Locke is very serious woman and dedicated to her job but her brother is getting married so she goes to watch him get married. I mean, Ashley is all work and no play. Ashley ...more

Was given an ARC for honest review.

Going for the Hole has to be my favorite book so far from L.P. Dover or maybe a close 2nd to "It Must've Been the Mistletoe." This book was a great read all the way through and there was not one point where I wanted to put the book down.

Doctor meet golf pro, of course that works! I am not sure if this book was so good because this is definitely a storyline I have never read, but it was a great story with hilarious characters that had me smiling like a crazy l

I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is a fun, light romance between two impossibly beautiful and incredibly privileged young people. With most of the story taking place at an exclusive beachfront golf resort, there is a Spring Break feel to the encounters between Ashley’s bachelorette party and Lucas’ mates.

I like that Ashley holds down a serious job but her somewhat mindless and entitled approach to her inherited wealth is aggravating at times. Who is actu

GOING FOR THE HOLE is my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this easy, breezy, insta romance. Don't let the sayings on the book give you any conclusions about the book -- it has low angst and not too much outside drama for the characters... There are plenty of dramatic plot twists though to keep the story going! I LOVED how the book ends along with the author's writing style!

You will definitely fall in love with these adorkable characters.
Golf has never been so tempting for me! I think I probably swooned with each romantic meeting.
Lucas and Ashley both play each other off with fake names before diving in for a crazy night.
One silly little bet turns the stakes up.
It's fun yet actually turns into something so much more. Falling in love just comes so simple for these two.
The press manages to uproot that with each twist.
It's a strong storyline from the beginning that

Hole in One⛳ Right Here! . . .

I don’t know how she does it but L.P. Dover can make the cocky a**hole into the perfect swoon worthy man and then pair him with a strong female who just needs to let go and fall in love. The whole novel was wonderfully crafted with a good balance between character perspectives and the ever important angst of will she let him or will he break her trust kind of burdening questions.

This is my first book by LP Dover. I was sucked in by the cute cover and the golf backstory being a golfer myself and married to an excellent golfer. I'd call this a light summer romance. Somewhat implausible, but enjoyable enough to let some things slide. Ashley is a doctor, practicing general medicine in her family's practice. She's only twenty eight and it appears as if she's been practicing awhile already according to different comments made. I'm having a hard time matching up a time table t ...more

Going For The Hole is a sexy, sweet, and witty romantic comedy.

Lucas and Ashley are not looking for love, but you know how the saying goes, “love finds you when you are least expecting it,” as this couple will soon discover. This was a fantastic read and unlike anything I've read from Ms. Dover before. Like all her other stories it wasn't long before I was caught up in the storyline and characters. I found the characters to be well developed and easy to relate too.

Going For the Hole is a truly enjoyable sports romance. This story is perfect for an afternoon at the beach.

I haven’t read many books by L.P. Dover but the ones I have read have been excellent. This one was a little different from the other books I’ve read in that this is more of a romantic comedy without the suspense. This story is fairly predictable but still entertaining!!! I thought

“Finding love while on vacation, 5 stars”

Dover has a way with making her readers fall in love with the characters right off the bat. Every single one brings something new to the table. Lucas and Ashley do just that.
